Regarding the statement that a German delegation that is coming tomorrow to Belgrade would bring a concept of a legally binding agreement for Serbia and Kosovo, Dušan Janjić clarified that based on additional information obtained from diplomatic sources, this would not be a concept of an agreement, but rater the key pointes of German policy for the Western Balkans.

“A concept of an agreement does not exist. Germany is working on the key points of its policy for the Western Balkans. After being drafted, a document containing the key points of German policy for the Western Balkans will be treated as an internal document”, Janjić told to Beta agency.

As stated by Janjić, Germany would “play a more active role in solving the problems in the Western Balkans, and in line with that, Berlin is advocating the position that Kosovo should be given the UN observer status.

Earlier today, when presenting the elements that the legally binding document should contain – drafted by the Forum for Ethnic Relations – Janjić said that a German delegation that is coming to Belgrade tomorrow shall bring a concept of a legally binding agreement, which Serb and Kosovo officials should sign by the end of the year.
